Stoelting has been actively engaged in polygraph for more than eight decades and we’re delighted to be affiliated with the Academy of Polygraph Science and Dr. Richard E. Poe in providing unparalleled Polygraph training.
Dr. Poe, a seasoned Law Enforcement Officer and Polygraphist who has been studying and practicing polygraph for more than 30 years, will remain the Director of the Academy. Joining Dr. Poe as a primary instructor is Mr. Ben Blalock. Mr. Blalock is a federally trained polygraph examiner and an APA certified Primary Instructor. Mr. Blalock, a former polygraph school director, has engaged in countless hours of teaching and polygraph instruction. He has also published on a variety of polygraph related topics and is in ‘high demand’ as a guest lecturer and instructor worldwide.
The Academy was founded to provide quality polygraph training to qualified, highly motivated individuals in law enforcement, government and the private sectors.
The Academy of Polygraph Science conducts certification training in Basic, PCSOT, and Advanced Forensic Psychophysiology in the Detection of Deception Courses. The home campus is located in Fort Myers, Fl. and satellite classes are continually planned throughout the United States.
The Academy was founded to provide quality polyraph training to qualified, highly motivated individuals in law enforcement, government and the private sectors. Academy accreditations include the American Polygraph Association (APA), Florida Polygraph Association (FPA) and the American Association of Police Polygraphist (AAPP). We comply with all ASTM standards.
Dr. Richard E. Poe, Director has been studying and practicing polygraph for more than 30 years. He graduated from
the Univ. of Sarasota, with an Ed. D. Degree and also is a Florida Certified Mental Health Professional. Dr. Poe is a seasoned Law Enforcement Officer and Polygraphist, who is considered an expert in the 6 Judicial Court System of Pinellas/Pasco Counties, Fl. and Military Court Martial hearings at MacDill A.F.B. Tampa, Fl. Dr. Poe is the past Vice-President-Private, former Treasurer and past member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Polygraph Association and is currently serving as the Director of the School of Continuing Studies.Dr. Poe holds F.P.A. certificate #127 and AAPP certificate #1745 and FCB Certified Mental Health Professional #50279
